Last Day at Gettysburg

August 3
Yesterday in between swimming sessions we played some miniature golf at the campground. Kevin actually got a hole -in-one on this hole.

The last hole was a waterfall hole we enjoyed the round even though it was really hot that day out in the sun.

August 4
It's amazing what you see in Walmart parking lots anymore. It looked like the young man with the blue jeans and pea green shirt just sold his sailboat to this family and was showing them how to set it up. It's a pretty cool little sailboat called an Escape. Kevin and I took this picture while waiting for Sharyn to return with some supplies.

Across the street from Walmart was a Burger King with a very unique booth that looked like a '57 Chevy Bel-Aire. Kevin drove and we ate.

Back at camp Kevin prepared for swimming by applying some zinc oxide under our flag windsock.

Then hid behind it while I took this picture.

I decided to give B&W photography and caught Kevin on the way back from the pool.

Later we went back to the pool and took an aquatic shot in B&W

Then caught a cannon ball in color.

Some kids came to the pool with super soaker waterguns and not to be outdone Kevin retaliated with an old fashioned watergun of his own.

It was a good full last day at Drummer Boy Campground and we will say goodbye tomorrow to our sweet pollywog grandson.

Scrabble Score August 2 - Scrabble Queen beat me bad and I'm not tellin' the score.
