Sunsets, Helicopters and a Snake

I've always loved the sunsets from this hill in Valley Center.

Usually it's the desert colors because of the clear skies

The smog from Interstates 15 and 5 always add a red tint.

This is a fairly long distance shot looking East at a water tower surrounded by palm trees and painted in the pink glow of sunset.

Got this great picture of a military (marines I think) helicopter flying over head.

And this snake (fake) laying underfoot.

I really like the rock formations in Jill's back yard and can almost picture a coyote sitting on this rock howling at the moon.

Then there is Willie the Watusi with his horn brace and looking good after a brush with mortality after cracking his skull.

On the hill next to where the Musemobile is resting there was a rather large brush fire that was knocked down quickly. It's a very good thing too it's very close to a lot of homes and the Musemobile.

Sharyn's dad Ed (my golfing buddy) came by for a visit and Vivian wants some pictures so this is one for you Vivian.

A huge RV pulled in across the street from the Musemobile and has a Directway Satellite Internet setup - I love the blue light on it.

Scrabble Score - Scrabble Queen (on a roll) 328 - the Contender 287

Quote of the Day
"The winds of change are always blowing
And every time I try to stay
The winds of change continue blowing
And they just carry me away." ~ Willie Nelson
