Rainy Day Blues

The day started in a very promising way. We moved to a new site at the Riveredge Campground just below a row of cabins and the weather was cool and clear for the move to the new site.

We liked the move because it was right across from the Wireless Internet Antenna for the only transmitter (the white antenna) we had to use that was on the other side of the metal roof and the signal was iffy at best.

We had some trouble leveling and keeping the wheels on the ground so we borrowed some wood from our hosts that made all the difference we needed.

We are now a stone's throw from the main office and the swimming pool at the bottom of these stairs.

Then the rains started covering the bed cover of this 4x4 truck parked next to our site.

.... and they came

................ and came

.... and came

So we stayed in except for lunch at a Chinese buffet and then taking the rental car back to Enterprise. For the evening meal Matt bought Pizza we had delivered and Matt set up email accounts for the girls.

Quote of the day -
"Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary." ~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
