It was a short drived today from Brookville, Ohio to Buckeye Lake, Ohio, all of 109 miles. It was hot again so we even turned on the air conditioner in the Musemobile. Later we found out we could have used the air conditioner on the roof of the RV by turning on the generator and it uses less gasoline and cools better than the dashboard air. It was a good tip because we are economical people, well Scrabble Queen the family account is and she keeps track. We got to Buckeye Lake about 2 pm and checked in then went our site. This is a KOA campground and they not only have RV and Tent sites but cute little cabins

Buckeye Lake KOA is a really neat looking place with plenty of trees and the shade was nice on this hot day. The only drawback was the satellite receiver for the TV couldn't get past the leaves. Fortunately they have cable here so we were able to watch the news and Seinfeld.

The KOA staff is very nice and guide everyone to their campsites or in this picture they are giving someone a tour of the facility in their little KOA Camp Cart

I thought this row of cabins would make a good picture all lined up in the trees begging for some grandparents to show up with the grandkids to warm them up with smiles. KOA campgrounds are really great for kids and most have pools, cool 4 wheel bikes and places for children to run and whoop it up.

I like odd pictures at times do I shot this one of a fire ring with a cute little dandilion flower tough enough to take the heat.

Since it was a short day I didn't take many pictures on the road. I loved the shape of this tree and in person it's more impressive than I could ever show here.

Well that's about it -- no Wait!

Scrabble score: Scrabble Queen 317 - da' contender 351

Quote of the Day
Do not be too moral. You may cheat yourself out of much life. Aim above morality. Be not simply good; be good for something.
