Florence II Willie Nelson 1/2


We decided to take a walk today over to Mo's for some Clam chowder.

We need more sponsors - wait we don't have Winnebago, Winegard, Sightseer only their logos on our RV.

Out on the docks was a Great Blue Heron hanging out and looking for food.

I also got another picture of the Alava at high tide.

The docks at Florence are a jungle of dock pillars and boardwalks.

I like that the four sponsors listed here advertise child boating safety. I do think many adults don't float very well either but as we know adults can decide based on knowledge and experience - or can they?

Barnicle coverd beams stand close to the shore marking the height at high tide.

There is a new condo complex in Florence with a fantastic view and below is the Bridgeport Market. I took a shot or two in the market and noticed the camera (on automatic) focused on the Candy rack on the left.

There are lots of interesting things in the market...

... including this bear with a knitted had and scarf.

Jay (pictures here) and Cindy (not pictured here) Cable are the owners of both the Condos and the Market. We didn't buy anything although the condos look great but a little out of my price range (I'm jealous) but the conversation with Jay and his friend who was there was great.

More pillars looking East, I just love this view it reminds me of the old days when they floated logs down rivers for milling and transport on ships all over the world.

I actually was able to go down on the docks for a lower view.

I almost stepped on this gull so he/she scampered away squawking and flapping wings in disgust

I like the low view of the docks, it's such a different perspective.

The Best Boat Name has to go to the Miss Conduct.

Little Al took second place.

Best Cluster of Lures also wen to Miss Conduct

Best Christmas Theme went to this rig - also Miss Conduct who won Best in Show.

I liked the setup on the back of this fishing boat. I first thought the wooden box on the back was a handmade easy chair.



There was this hand carved wood statue of Neptune as a teenager.

And the bridge on 101 a landmark in Florence.


Finally we saw willie Nelson 1/2 strumming and singing on the boardwalk
