Twins asleep in the field next door and it is now June with the clouds on their Spring schedule coming and going on a fairly lazy day. There are about 150 sheep in the field, a new high, and with so many the law of averages took two along with natural deaths...
... and the turkey Buzzards that return this time of year. While the buzzards have been hanging out in the cottonwood tree today they were joined by two Osprey (the two near the center, flanked by the Buzzards on either side.
I even got a Buzzard and one of the Osprey flying together.
It was first Friday and time for the art walk in Eugene so Peter and I parked in the garage downtown on the second floor looking toward the Hult Center...
... and while Peter locked the car I snapped on of him in his snazzy blue car.
We first visited the Jacobs Gallery to view the exhibit titled "Youth Arts Exhibit! – Talents of Tomorrow" and I totally agree looking at this painting it was evident the arts are in good hands for the future.
It isn't just the advanced skills I saw in the painting but the imagination ...
... and the creativity that impressed me greatly.
Sharyn and I also see out hand in the future of art in our son Peter, here here talking to Randy, a fine artist in his own right...
... having painted this wonderful piece entitled "One" in our garage just after coming home. This painting was purchased and can be seen at Creswell Coffee Company a great place for a cup or a snack.
The White Lotus Gallery had a brilliant show featuring Gary Tepfer with wonderful...
... pieces farmed beautifully.
While Peter, Randy, Renee and Vern were in the Imagine gallery I took a few shots of downtown Eugene with buildings ...
... as well as some beautiful trees in the park...
Art walks would be vastly less interesting without my friends Renee, Vern and Randy (sometimes Ron) but it was extra special to have my son Pete with us that night.
I did take one picture of a flower in a planter on the walk ...
... but also had taken pictures at home of our Dogwood in bloom with a fly in tow....
... and one of the newly blooming Hydrangea...
