We took off this morning after taking a picture (Peter took this one) of a Bird of Paradise at our RV site.
Getting to Takach I set of on a walk around taking shots of the beautiful landscape created by Jill and George...
... noting the ice plant fire break...
... and the bee that dropped by of a pollen hunt.
There were these sweet flowers with little eyes looking out...
... near this uplifted lavender near...
... Jill's ancient Staghorn fern.
Even the cactus was set to bloom...
and the Epiphyllum was so colorful it didn't need flowers --- yet.
The succulents looked great ...
...ans the cut arrangement was perfectly placed.
On the back porch the Bromeliad was full of color...
...as was the Flamingo flower.
I lived the tiny yellow flowers on this curved branch...
... and this orchid (I believe) hanging on the branch like a sleeping bat.
I walked up the hill behind the house to pay my respects to Wendy (sweetest canine on earth) ...
... while Jill and Sharyn drove up in the "Mule"...
... to see the Matilija poppy blooms.
I thought I'd add this stump that looked like a dragon's head. What a nice day with family - just perfect.
