Boston's North End and Harvard Square Area

It's the Harvard Lampoon building staring at us as Jim drives us to our stealth parking at Harvard.

There are beautiful towers all around Harvard ...

... and great bridges over the Charles including this walking bridge.

There are interesting buildings all around Harvard and ...

... throughout the Boston area...

... and even the hotels like the Marriott Long Wharf are fascinating.

I love photographing here and even a pedestrian sitting on a major through-way talking on a cell phone caught my eye...

... as did the Mercantile Mall was cool...

... but Jim and I were on a mission to meet Sharyn and Doreen at an eatery on the "North End" called Limoncello...

... and even the alley was a great shot.

After one of the best meals ever we decided to walk around this area known for great Italian food after a shot of the Limoncello Vespa

The moon was coming up as we strolled around not far from "The Old North Church" and Paul Revere's home (neither are pictured here) ...

... but we were surrounded by great places to eat.

There were lots of folks walking around...

... and reliving their youth...

... and renewing dreams of a little shop on the North End.

I liked this fenced off playground because it reminded me of so many movies.

I couldn't miss out on a picture of Monica's for our Texas Monica...

...or this shot down a side street...

... or this place called Dino's.

I think my favorite was this shot down a gated alley.

After dinner and a stroll we caught a cab to Harvard...

...where people we sitting and talking and listening to some very good music...

...it reminded me of what I really enjoy - a good conversation about anything.

Then I got a picture of Lowell Hall Tower and it is a special tower because Lowell Hall is where Jim and Doreen were married - very special.

Before Jim and I arrived Doreen had taken some pictures ...

...documenting that it was Saint Anthony's Feast day ...

... a corner Bakery...

...Some fascinating buildings...

... and a great shot of the marketplace.

Doreen also got a picture of Sharyn making a call or calculating the shopping bill.

The "Old North Church is in this district as well as Paul Revere's home so Doreen also got a great picture of a statue in his honor.

"The notion that the public accepts or rejects anything in modern art is merely romantic fiction. The game is completed and the trophies distributed long before the public knows what has happened." ~ Tom Wolfe
