It was time to go back to Vermont but on the way we did stop at the Vermont Country Store where I sampled Raw Milk Cheese - and Yes! Charlotte it does taste yummy. They did have a covered bridge...
... and by sheer chance an Antique Ford club visiting from Connecticut...
... and the cars we beautifully restored...
... we passed this car on the way to the store and I really like the white tires.
Everything on the cars was restored to authentic look but I doubt the GPS Holder on the windshield and the sunglasses were from the '20s.
I still can look at these cars with a real reverence because they were the beginning of American industrial mass production.
It is hard to believe the cycle of this industry has left us behind unless we can adapt as a country.
Never-the-less we should ...
... thank Henry Ford for millions of jobs perhaps as many jobs as there were US citizens in 1900.
We finally got back to the home in Vermont to watch the sun light up the trees across the lake...
... and in the lake's reflection.
A beautiful red breasted nuthatch stopped to say hello ...
... accompanied by a Hairy Woodpecker...
... who ate from the hummingbird feeder then...
...posed
Quote of the Day
"A business absolutely devoted to service will have only one worry about profits. They will be embarrassingly large." ~ Henry Ford
