As was Sarkis who had a great start to his painting...
I walked around the lake and got a picture of Don and Renee setting up on the pier ...Then walked to the pier (not on the water) to get a picture of Renee with Don in the background.
What an artist sees is personal and a representation of each artist's personality |
Don is a very accomplished painter and it was a pleasure watching his vision come together...
... It's one thing to see these works in a gallery as a fixed image but to watch them go from a blank canvas to a wonderful work of art is very special.
Renee was painting a barn across the pond...
... since I'm a photographer I had to walk around the pond to get a fairly clear view.
On the walk around the lake I did snap a few shots of mossy rocks...
... colorful leaves...
... and a bright weed...
Even a dead branch that looked like a bearded snake
Later I found Victoria and Jacki painting in the high brush...
... and first took a picture of the brush ...
... then the brushes...
Victoria was busy painting and in the background Don and Renee were still hard at work
... and one more moss covered branch.
Later Sally arrived with her gear. I wanted to show an artist setup gear ...
... for those of you who think artists are not very organized, believe me they are very organized.
There was even a new artist there, I even got her name and the spelling and lost and forgot it so please let me know. This was the second day of the paint-out and it was very cool seeing a new artist there...
Walking around the lake I got a shot of an Egret before it flew away...
Paul Bourgault was there as well high on a rise painting the barn at close range. I am always happy to see these great people and fine artists they are always smiling and kind.
