Before going to see Yaquina Head Lighthouse (Oregon's Tallest Lighthouse) we stopped at Isaac & Julia's hotel where I saw this kite flying high...
and this view up the coast toward the lighthouse.
The first sight at the lighthouse was the beautiful black sand cove...
Pigeon Guillemot birds were nesting in the cove...
... and they are lovely birds with bright orange feet snd mouths...
...and the heads look amazingly like a pigeon but they are actually in the Puffin family.
The view south from the lighthouse is breathtaking...
and the lighthouse is wonderful....
... and something to behold.
Everything about this area is outstanding from these trees in a field...
to the rocky shore...
... to the colony of Common Murre covering the rocks below...
...where the Murre with blazing blue throats (also in the same family as the Guillemot) hold court...
...but not holding court over this guy - the Bald Eagle - looking out from the trees in the field...
... as majestic an animal as ever existed and this was a very huge Eagle.
Not sure which weed or should I say plant is but I liked how they looked.

Another day in Paradise
We have a White-Crowned Sparrow nesting in the tree just in front of the RV at Port of Newport RV Park
In the distance we can see the Yaquina Bay Bridge and it's twin towers
From a distance you can see they are actually Quadruplets
I really liked this dark red boat and ...
... The Newport Belle a stern-wheeled riverboat B&B constructed in 1993. She is 97′ long with a beam of 24′. With nearly 3,000 sq. ft. of living space on three decks and combines the nostalgia of a turn-of-the-century atmosphere with all the amenities the modern traveler expects.
Later we saw a Farmers Market and stopped in to see what we could find
It wasn't just groceries but crafts and flowers
South of the Yaquina Bay bridge is a great Crab cookery with a flying saucer on the roof of the cooker
I walked around taking pictures in the wooded area while waiting for our food and found the cool shot...
... and some small flowers were nearby...
... as well as a deflowered Rhododendron.
I liked the "The Ice Man Cometh" motto on this Ice Delivery truck
I'm not sure what the place is called other than "Crab"
Issac and Julia arrived and Julia took Lola for a walk while Isaac walked Harley.
The bridge was beautiful as the sun set...
...and the Musemobile went into catering mode...
Harley climbed onto the sofa...
...and Lola sat at Isaac's feet

The Adventure begins with an Exodus of Renewal
These pictures were taken with my I-Phone at the last minute to preserve the end of one era and he beginning of the next.

| We will miss the home we made and lived in for 12 years... |
... and we will miss the back patio and the great country views.
We love this place we made from one empty house to one fully developed and cherished home.
Everything is gone except for the painting Sharyn and the color scheme.
Not much to show we ever lived here...
... but we will miss this great home...
...and Sharyn's decorating touch
First Isaac's room then the computer room on the second floor.
The wonderful Dogwood just out of our bedroom window...
This white Rhododendron I transplanted a few times...
... the wisteria finally blooming...
... the red Peony...
The beautiful Oregon Iris patch ...
...and one of our favorites the wild White Iris we found in the ditch of a deserted home.
So we got new tires for the Musemobile
...At J&J Truck and Tire in Halsey
Thought of the Day ~
"To everything, turn, turn, turn.
There is a season, turn, turn, turn.
And a time to every purpose under heaven.
A time to build up, a time to break down.
A time to dance, a time to mourn.
A time to cast away stones.
A time to gather stones together. " ~ The Book of Ecclesiastes, Pete Seeger and The Byrds plus many more
