Kinko, Steak'n Shake to Ohio

The day started with a trip to Kinko's to download and print some personal business thingies. Kinko's was a great acuisition for FedEx and the two are a perfect match of services.

If you look at the lower left you can easily see Kinko's also grows great weeds.

I caught a crow flying buy but the sun kinda washed him out or maybe it was a hawk.

Caught this car with dragon flames - is that flame stuff making a comeback? It is colorful but then again I'm not sure about it on today's cars. It looks great on black hotrods but I just can't see it on a ford fiesta. Anyone know what kind of car this is?

Later we had a real treat - eating out at a steak place. It's a fifties motif fast food chain called Steak 'n Shake. I love their burgers. The patties are paper thin but very tasty. If you can find one give it a try.

We went through Indianapolis, Indiana and the route took us near the downtown. Scrabble Queen shot this of the downtown through our bug ridden windshield.

We were lucky to be going East because the Westbound side of I70 was at a standstill for about 7 miles.

Finally we made it into Ohio (still carrying our windshield bugs) just in time to lose another hour (Eastern Time) to the gods of Eastward migration.

Just 24 miles down the road we stopped at a beautiful KOA campground.

Did I mention it was really hot today? We passed a bank that shows time and temprature and it was 102 at 1:30 pm (Central time zone) yucky hot and humid.

Scrabble Score: Scrabble Queen 324 - The contender 302 (well it WAS close)

Quote of the day
"Courage is not limited to the battlefield or the Indianapolis 500 or bravely catching a thief in your house. The real tests of courage are much quieter. They are the inner tests, like remaining faithful when nobody's looking, like enduring pain when the room is empty, like standing alone when you're misunderstood."
